Material Coordinator for the Naval Staff

The Naval Staff is looking for a material coordinator focusing on needs coverage, war placement, and material decommissioning for the Naval Staff's Material Office regarding the material for which the Navy is responsible.

About the Unit

As a material coordinator, you will be part of the Mtrl/GRO/KRO detail within the Navy's Material Office in the Naval Staff. The Navy's Material Office supports responsible managers in creating conditions for material to be available, system-worthy, and safe.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform and prepare tasks assigned to TVA Marin with a focus on the needs coverage process and war placement of naval material
• Provide preparation support within the various functions of the Naval Staff
• Act as a coordinator for the Navy's logistics units in Berga, Gothenburg, and Karlskrona regarding the war placement of naval material
• Participate in HKV working groups concerning needs coverage, war placement, and material decommissioning, including developing processes
• Collaborate closely with the Naval Staff's War Formation Responsible (KFA) as well as with other branches' KFA and FM SLS
• Serve as a contact point for other TVK/TVA within the Swedish Armed Forces
• Train actors within the Navy on war placement
• Manage the Preparation Section's collaboration space on EMILIA

The position includes frequent travel, mainly within Sweden. Collaboration with other parts of the Armed Forces takes place, among other places, in Stockholm and Enköping.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• High school education with passing grades
• Previously documented experience in administrative work
• Good knowledge of parts of the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
• Documented experience working with the SAP business system
• Driver's license B

Meritorious

• Relevant post-secondary education for the profession
• Training in the IOR system
• Training in BS/BT in the PRIO system
• Training in ISUndSäk
• At least three years of experience working in the FM support system Lift and/or PRIO
• Experience with FM support systems Lift and PRIO regarding needs coverage and war placement
• Experience in editorial work on FM EMILIA
• Experience with Vidar
• Experience with processes and roles regarding needs coverage and war placement
• Experience with material decommissioning
• Knowledge of naval technical systems

Other

Employment type: permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not employed by the authority.
